Any recommendations for birth announcement cards - cheap and quick

Just getting prepared for when our baby comes. If it comes on time then we will have a week from birth until last posting date for Christmas, and would love to include arrivals cards in our Christmas cards - any suggestions for cheap and quick places where we can get them done - just a photo on one side and the name and key details on the back is fine.

I've used a photo editing site called Picnik for the kids' thank-you notes when they've been too young to write/draw. Assuming you have a digital camera so can take a nice picture of him/her, you upload it to the site and can add borders and/or text - so you could put all the key details on there. You can then save the amended picture and get it printed from wherever is most convenient to you - our local Asda has a photo counter which has a same day service if you are in a rush to get them done, you upload online and collect in-store so wouldn't be too much hassle even with a tiny baby.

(There's an example of a thank you note on my photos, just click on my name and scroll down, she's on a tricycle in a pink sleepsuit).

Have a look at www.hellolittleone.co.uk for lovely birth announcement cards and canvases. We bought ours from the website and are very pleased with them.

I have been running www.cococards.co.uk for 2 years now and just love dealing with new mums who want birth announcements, my designs are classy and cute and I can do bespoke designs aswell. They do not go tho the printers until you are totally happy with them.
