Sorry, I lost my Mother around 18months-2 years ago. She had quite a traumatic death, She found out she had terminal cancer and died all within 3 weeks. I held her in my arms as she died, but even now 2 years on I cannot get over the shock, I can't get over seeing her dying. I don't remember her as the person she was, I just think about those last days endlessly, and how I and others reacted. Its all just such a nightmare, my partner isn't much of a support.
I'm very sorry to hear about your Mother
It is ESPECIALLY hard if it was traumatic and unexpected.
I think this time of year is also very hard too.
Have you had any support from Macmillan or suchlike.?
CRUSE is another good organisation. Will try to link.
I am so sorry you are going through this.x
I am so sorry for your loss
Grief is a strange beast to ride
Have you spoken to anyone - Dr/counsellor- about your feelings?
I had what turned out to be post traumatic stress after my dear Dad died nearly 4 years ago - shan't go into detail here but suffice to say that I had his last day looping endlessly in my head. Counselling helped me to deal with my loss.
Please, see your doctor and ask for counselling, or at least speak to someone.
