sorry for yor loss, it will help, but may be too soon to really do any good as you are right at the raw stage of it.

you must try and busy yourself and equally allow yourself time to lose it and cry as that is totally 'normal'. Best advice I can give (I lost my gran (like a mum to me) and my best friend within a month 2 yrs ago) is take each day slow and as it comes and take all the help offered. you may find councelling helps now, but you may need to revisit it in a few yrs time. I spent a lot of time in the councillors office not saying a lot just crying but I did feel bit better in the long run. and I did have a 2nd lot of sessions later. Dont look at it for a quick fix though as it wont be. The only thing to make it easier is time. Really feel for anyone going through it as it is a really lonely time and just something you have to go through when you lose a special person.
best of luck x
