Bereavement

Had a phone call to say...

Hi every one.

I had a phone call from my db yesterday to tell us that my cousin phoned telling him my uncle had died that morning and his wife has maybe got a month (liver cancer)

He is my last uncle and my dm's last brother, she's been unwell but took the news relativly well but we're both gutted that no-one from the family can attend the funeral as it's in New Zealand and we're in Scotland.

What makes it worse is we cannot find my aunt and uncles address so we cant even send flowers or cards.

Is there any way on finding addresses in New Zealand whilst in the UK?

Sorry post longer than I thought

I am very sorry to hear that.

Hopefully someone will have the answer about addresses very soon.

Thanks Cadbury.

Just feel so sorry for my mum, she hasn't seen him in about 13 yrs and we lost touch about 5yrs ago with us moving houses and them moving countries.

I do hope some-one can help me.

Try www.whitepages.co.nz - it's the online equivalent of their phone book. Or could you ask your cousin?

Like Yellow Pages

Phonebook (not white pages)

Let us know if those don't give you the answer. x

Sorry about that - ignore the phonebook one too, just double checked it.

I think White pages is your best bet (the one I put as Like yellow pages).

Good luck

(The first one was just another link to White Pages anyway)

Honestly Thank-you for trying to help.

Mum feels better that she can get in touch even if it is a bit late

do you know the town they live in?

Phone local funeral directors and ask where to send flowers/ cards. Often the directors handle that stuff (did for my grandfather, anyway)
