Dorchester isn't in Devon (it's in Dorset). Is the funeral in Dorchester? Sorry to hear about your friend

Yes there is a train between Dorch and Bristol.
I'll try and look up some info. I'm not far from Dorchester.

You can't get a train from Bristol airport. However, they do have a bus link which you can link up with your train ticket, so you buy a ticket straight through from Bristol airport to your destination.

I use the virgin trains website to check trains. Will link in a second.

You can also go by coach, but again you'd have to change, most likely in Bristol.

It will depend on which train you get. I saw one which was a bus from the airport to Bristol Temple Meads (the main station in Bristol), then direct from BTM to Dorchester. Others had another change.

If you know an approximate time/date, I'll check for you. My brain ceases to work at times too.

it's got to be as cheap as poss.we are stoney broke after xmas and the flight is already going to cost £150 because of the last minute booking.sorry that sounds heartless - i really don't mean it that way. i am going on my own as dh didn't really know my friend and needs to be here to look after dd. i suppose about £60 for a B&B room. I have not got a confirmed itime for the funeraL yet. but it will be Monday or tuesday of next week.
