My son passed away suddenly on Saturday morning. I woke up to find him dead having put him back to sleep in my bed 4 hours previously. I am absolutely devastated I just don't know what to do. I also have a dh and 3 other children.
The whole process has been awful with police involvement etc and I feel like I am drowning. Everyone around me is saying that it is SIDS.
My son had a post mortem this morning which came back as unasertainable (unexplained) but we're still waiting on the procurator fiscal releasing his body so we can start arrangements. It feels like every day there is something else standing in our way. I haven't held my son since he passed away on Saturday and I am just desperate to see him. The police have been hopeless I've had to chase them for even the tiniest bit of information.
Don't really know the reason for my posting just needed an outlet to vent as I can't do it at home. I just want to curl up and go to sleep but I have 3 other children but I miss my little baby so much he was only 12 weeks old. X

I’ve no advice, but I hope that you get some information soon and are able to see him/begin arrangements etc.

Yes thankfully I have family and friends but it's not enough. It's not my son. I miss him terribly ðŸ˜

I can't begin to imagine the level of pain you must be in. I am so sorry for your loss and what you, and your family are going through. Do you have any idea when you'll get to hold him to say goodbye? It seems cruel beyond measure that this is being held up. I hope you get to see him soon.
