Hi op. So sorry about your mum. I lost mine recently and it is just so tough but so are we I’m finding out (between periods of not being tough!).
I suppose it partly depends how many names would need to be included - ie is there actually room for names or would it be better just to say something like ‘dearly loved wife, mother, grandmother’ it is there room for ‘dearly loved wife to x, mother to y and z and grandmother to a, b, c’ ?
I personally don’t see any need for names (although they used to be useful for genealogy pre internet and it is strangely moving to see ancient tombstones with names on).
Good luck with decision.

I would probably write something like "a dearly loved mother and grandmother" (and, if still married, "an adored wife, dearly loved mother and grandmother").

Wouldn’t name, dates and an appropriate quote be enough?

I would go to the graveyard and have a look there. There are quite localised conventions about presentation. You may or may not want to follow the local style, but even so, it would help you to know how you feel I think.

I think you're normally charged per letter, so that is a consideration. Headstones are expensive. 😳

I would definitely go along these lines.
