I really don't know where to post this but I'm hoping someone can give me some advice..
A family member (that I'm not really very close to and lives quite far away) lost her husband last year. She is not coping very well (understandably) and her children are suffering too.
I am not close enough to offer support I feel she needs and she doesn't have a good network around her to help.
Is there any services that she can be referred to that can help?
The children had some help / support through their school but it's heartbreaking to see.
I can't go in to too much detail as it could be outing but I've wondered if I could ring SS to ask if there's any sort of support they could give her?
