My mum is dying ....

My mum is dying and it's so hard to watch. My dad died 4 yrs ago and he was so peaceful and calm. Mum has been so agitated and restless. Been so hard to watch. Drs and nurses been brilliant and think they've finally got right balance of drugs in syringe driver.
My mum is not the easiest person and has vascular dementia which obvs made things worse. I'm just so sad.
I know there's nothing anyone can do and we have just to get through this but it's so horrible watching her fadeaway.

I've been there with my dad. Be kind to yourself. Just chat about anything and remember to eat and drink.

I'm glad they have got the right balance of drugs and that hopefully she is painfree and more settled.

I'm going through this right now with my dad. It's awful to watch him getting worse and worse. He's getting fabulous care at a hospice but I want him to just slip away now as it's going on too long. Hope you're ok OP.
