I'm find things very tough in recent weeks, I lost my mum to ovarian cancer 6 months ago this week and dad to bowel cancer 3 years ago last week, and its hitting the hardest yet, desperately miss my mum, we were very close.
Is this normal? Do I just need to give myself a bit of time before picking up and carrying on? How do I stop being so tearful all the time?
Don't think helped by fact that I'm very tired, been working very long hours with a lot of travel and this 1/2 term week and feeling a bit under the weather.
@Eve I'm sorry to read this. I haven't got any experience with regards as my parent are both still alive, but as they age I am dreading this. I think you just have to give yourself time, there is no set grieving period. Have you got friends and other family around that you can talk to and offload onto?
