Support help?

Hi

I'm in a fairly new relationship with someone who lost a child 9 years ago. I've been with him through the anniversary and her birthday but he is so sad right now, doubly so as he separated from his wife this year and so this is his first Christmas without his DS (late teens). Is there a book or website that can just help me know really how to support, any do's or donts. I know I can't say anything to make this better but I think this is so emotive I'd like to get some advice. I know grief will be different for everyone but I'd just like to have some sort of insight. Thank you.
