My beautiful chloe would be turning 18 on 3 April, she was only 13 when we lost her, need to mark this special day for her but its bloody hard.

No it's indescribable, feel like I'm "bumbling" around, I'm so pleased to have this thread as I don't want to bring my girls down or my husband for that matter by keep feeling these bursts of just missing her, Thankyou for being there.

Chloe had cerebral palsy, a hospital cock up at birth, she was stunning, the longest eye lashes ive ever seen, long thick curly brown hair, and a smile that I miss so much, through all the pain she had she never complained, always had "that" smile, it would melt your heart, everyone that met her completely fell for her, can't think of how to do her justice for her special bday.

What kind of things made Chloe smile? Could you use any of them to help you mark her special day?

Yes she really did, learnt a lot from my little girl.

So sorry for your loss Flowers, I can't begin to imagine the never ending pain you all must feel.

Are you going to mark her birthday in any way?

I am so terribly sorry to hear about your beautiful daughter.
Did she like animals?
A friend of mine sponsored an animal at a local donkey sanctuary and they often go and visit, knowing their DS loved it there.

I have a little girl a year younger than your Chloe, who also has CP due to negligence at birth. I can't imagine your pain of losing her....but I wanted to say to you hello, and please tell us more about her, she sounds like she was such a lovely girl. Do you have any plans for the day yet?

So much love xxxx

Things that made her smile, cuddles kisses, singing to her, our dog! Talking to her, the wind blowing on her face made her laugh, I suppose just being with us, feeling loved and safe, probably sounds daft but with her condition all these things were so important to her.

She sounds like a happy, beautiful, strong person.
Deborah, I feel exactly the same, I write on here, because I really don't want to upset my boy's and husband anymore than they are already, and someone will always listen, and chat. And you can say whatever you need to.
Would you release 18 colourful balloons, have cake, and we had beer at the cemetry , we did that for my son the first birthday after, he was 22 though, he brought sunshine to us, so they were yellow and white.chloe sounds like she brought so much happiness.
It's so hard, and so cruel too xxx

Fiddlerontheroof, Thankyou, please as I'm sure you do already, cherish every moment with your little one, we were planning to move to a better house that we could adapt for Chloe, I even found a swing that her chair could sit in for the garden, then she was gone, I went in to her in the morning, rubbed her arm which always made her smile, she sighed and that was it, I vaguely remember falling to the floor and screaming no over and over, my husband tried resuscitating her, three ambulances came and tried for 1 hour and a half, I was numb inside and out, still can't believe she's gone, even 3 years on
