I may get flamed for this, as I know may have loved and lost in-laws, but I am really quite cross, and don't know if I am being unreasonable.
My wonderful mum died on New Years Eve. Our dd's, 4 and 8 have taken it well, and talk about gran fondly, which is great.
My dh mentioned to my mil that the dd's had been talking about gran, and she has taken it upon herself to send 2 "helpful" books for the girls- all about grieving/remembering lost grans.
I know she means well, but I am naffed off that she has sent them; surely it is up to me and dh to source books if we think it appropriate (which tbh I don't think it is).
What do you think?
