Only found out this evening, DH is at the pub so doesn't know yet, just feels a bit weird not having spoken to anyone about it...

Thanks all, I didn't see much point ruining DH's night out by telling him before he gets home! She was 96 so not bad going really.

Nans are the BEST. I still miss mine.

Would it help to tell us about her?

She had Alzheimers so the 'nan' that I remember had died a long time ago really. Just feels funny that she's really gone (she was a tough old bird and at death's door many times in the past couple of years but always bounced back).

So sorry for your loss.

know what you mean about Alzheimers MIL has it.

Hope you are feeling okay.

It was strange I was thinking of you today, as I posted last night that my DGD had just been born, I saw your post.

I hope DGD is here for 95 years that is a wonderful age.

Thanks for all your kind thoughts. I feel alright today, I am more sad for my mum than my nan if that makes sense. Lynli I'm sorry about your Mil but congrats for your DGD (circle of life and all that).
