Does anyone else have a baby that prefers Daddy?

My twins have been mixed fed, on ebm and formula since they were a few weeks old. I always fed Ravi, who was more demanding, and daddy always fed Akshay when he was home. Now Akshay is totally devoted to his daddy, cries when he puts him down and walks off, and smiles and coos much more for him.
I'm not bothered that he prefers his father, but it is making it hard for me to settle him when daddy goes back to work! I've had a lovely screamign fit to deal with already (Akshay not me!) because he got tired and his dad is better at settling him than me.
Has anyone else had a baby that prefers daddy?

Yes my DS preferred daddy. I took full advantage of it It soon wore off. When DH couldnt be around DS soon got into the swing of things because he had to. Bit tough on you at first but persevere it will pass.

I've got 4, so I'm happy, I think it's quite sweet and kind of hope it stays like this, but just need to be able to stop the tantrums!
When did ur ds settle?

both ds and dd often go through phases of prefering dad in fact both always prefered dad until recently when I insisted he discipline them more instead of just playing with them... I'm the strict one that gets everything done for them and he was the one that played with them... now more balanced and so happier for all except dad...!

God yes - ds only ever wanted his dad from when I weaned him at 18 months. He screamed at me for about 6 months till he finally got over it! Now he's (mostly) a mummy's boy
