Toddler Hitting!

DS 2.5 is normally an angel but occasionally hits other children, I know its a phase and certainly not intentional but upsetting and embarassing to see. What is the best way to deal with it? Getting down to his level and saying "no" then removing him from the situation and not making too much of a big deal about it? TIA

yep what your doing sounds fine, and always keep eye contact when you say NO
