1yo DS hates the outside!

My darling 1yo boy has just started to walk and is really pleased with himself about it Our house is pretty compact so I've been taking him out to the park to practice falling over walking and explore etc. but he just hates it! He seems to dislike the feel of grass and earth under his hands and being buffeted by the wind - he just sits down and starts crying.

He's never been mad keen, even before he could walk. My friends' LOs of similar age all barrel about like an advert for childhood, picking up leaves and laughing, while my son watches them in bewilderment. He's fine indoors - today we went to the local museum and he had a brilliant time toddling around the galleries, I could see he liked having all that space.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this. I presume he'll grow out of it but it would be nice (and convenient) to be able to go out to the park now and again.

He could just be sensitive to the cold.

Mittens on and do more open indoor spaces.
