Started nursery and toilet training gone to pot ...

DS trained quite easily in daytime when about 2.3. Nights are still not an option.

He's now 3.4 and started nursery school 3 mornings per week. No accidents at nursery but he has started wetting his trousers at least once a day at home. He seems to be leaving it till the very last minute - but is most resistant to suggestions that he might need to go.

I'd assumed it was tiredness and a degree of anxiety and was leaving well alone, but any other possibilities? Should I be getting him checked for an infection? Or can he not get his trousers down? (standard M&S heavy cotton, nothing fancy!)

Thanks for any advice

It wouldn't hurt to get checked for a water infection.

Has he worn these type of trousers before?
