My DS is 19 months. He is really physical, so he loves running about, going to the part etc. He has just started really getting into books so we read quite a lot. I also have an older DD and he plays with her lots. Other than that, he likes playing with megablok type toys and he also quite likes playing with little people animals.

Ds is 21 months. We go to toddler groups twice a week and a music class.

Rest of the time, we meet friends, go to library and go to play park after school with dd.

We do spend sometime at home - ds loves books, so lots of this, also loves any catalogues that come through the door (!), has just got into dd's trainset; have started to use playdough; drawing (scribbling). We also do quite a lot of running up and down the path outside with a doll's pushchair.

Im a CM of 2 boys aged 18 months and 20 months.

One is very tactile - he loves playing with large tupperware box of rice, sand, water or slime (cornflour and water) or playdough. I made up a box of fabric swatches in different textures and colours. Also have a "nature box" - atm, theres fallen leaves, conkers, acorns, pine cones etc in it. He picked the stuff on a walk (he has a little bucket for collecting things)

The other little boy cant really sit for long - he generally loves kicking stuff . He loves tents/forts, cars, action songs, and when we get outside, football and basketball, climbing, digging in dirt, and collecting stuff, mainly stones. In fact, always stones.

mousey read it wrong at first and wondered how you had dcs of 18 mths and 20 mths doh! So you look after Makka Pakka then lol. The boxs of stuff sound good, thanks.

traveller, I've never been to a toddler group , we did try on class that was on in the summer but it was a bit old for her and her friend tbh, music class sounds interesting. I have found out all the local libray wriggly reader times and put them on the calendar (have been to one before), and DD will be joining next time we go. She also loves books, and the mags from the sat paper . Thanks

strawberry, what are little people animals?

Have noticed that all three of these egs there are one than one child, maybe i should take that one on board
