How old do you think a child is when they stop being a baby?

Some people I know think they stop being babies when they turn 1, but that seems really young to me. I think they are still babies really at 2+.

I agree. Id say at 2 they would be a toddler rather than a baby. One is too young, they are still so little!

Just turned 2 still seems young to me though. My DS had only just started walking when he turned 2. I'd be inclined to say between 2.6 and 3 but I think most would say that's too old to still be thinking of them as a baby instead of a toddler.

My babies are 5 and 6... grin
I think they stop being babies around one, but only grow out of "babyhood", iykwim, between 2 and 3.

Forgot to mention that my dc aged 10 and 12 are still my 'babies' and apparently I'm still my mum's baby - albeit a 40 year old one !! grin
