Unprovoked attack!

Help! My 2 year old daughter is all lovey dovey one minute, and then lashes out the next either hitting, pinching or biting. She does it mostly with me (somewhat of a daddy's girl) and it is breaking my heart and creating a rift between me and hubby.

We tell her off - no shouting, but very calmly say it is not acceptable, but she thinks it is a
game. I am beginning to get really down about it, and feel I have to police her when we are with other children.

Any advice!!??

my little ds was the same and through consistant discipline he has now grown out of it (nearly 3) I really feel for you.

here is a similar thread that might be useful x

No advice, I'm afraid, but my ds who is nearly 2 is exactly the same. He hasn't bitten recently, but I am all over small bruises from the pinching. He does do it to others but not as much as to me. I put him on the bottom step when he does it, but I'm not sure if it is working or not. He has started to run to the step after he does it without being told now. I havbe noticed that the more tired he is the more likely he is to hit, pinch or kick.
