Is it just me, or does anyone else measure their parenting success by how early or late in the day cbeebies is turned on?

Well done!

I also try occasional TV free days (when we are not planning to go out too), and they leave me feeling quite faint. Though 'tis a blessing not having to sit through another excruiating episode of Me Too or Balamory

That's cheating smile!

You know its a bad day when they watch the same programme twice!

Went on at about 8am in my house today.

I am 22 weeks pregnant, fat, achey, tired, sore, dizzy (from low blood pressure) and tired - yes I know I said that already but I felt it deserved including twice.

My 2 and a half year old is just too much for me today - I cannot wait for this baby to get here!

I am never doing this again!

dd3 can switch it on by herself, so she does... as soon as she wakes up! it's normally on before I get out of bed blush

absolutely. I would be very proud if I got to 2.40! I have to ration myself and often measure it against outside time. So ds has been to a kids gym and to the park today so I convince myself tv can be on for longer

btw pre- 7am tv just doesn't count, it's essential for parental mental health!

Definitely agree with the pre-7am policy! TV is back off again, but will no doubt be back on within the hour! Can't cope with the 'I want to watch telly, I want to watch the telly, I want to watch the telly, just for 2 minutes, please can I watch the telly' etc etc etc
