This is a great site for support but County Hall should be sending you back to the school for resolution with school problems. They don't sound very supportive.
Have you asked the school whether your son has behaviour difficulties in school as well as at home?
Your school has a SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) s/he is responsible for making referrals to outside professionals to help with children in school. There are several avenues available that I can think of off the top of my head:
Speech & Language Therapist will investigate language issues to see if your sons behaviour problems are caused by difficulties understanding what is happening in school.
Educational Psychologist will investgate social and emotional aspects of your sons behaviour and also look for learning difficulties such as dyslexia, which could be at the root of the behaviour.
The school will have access to some sort of Behaviour Counselling for children whose behaviour os causing difficulties in the classroom.
You can ask, as a parent, for a referrral to anyone of these services.
If the behaviour difficulties are just at home, or if the school are really not willig to help once you have spoken to the SENCo, you can ask your GP for a referral to a Clinical Psychologist who will help you sort out serious behaviour difficulties at home.
Hi emkam, unfortunately I must have missed you gate crashing last night
TurtleAnn has posted a lot of great advice for you there.
Mn is a fabulous site for support, and I'm sure you will 'meet' others in similar situations. Good luck to you
hi ladys thank u for ur reply thank you for all that info turtleann

i think the educ phys sound slike a great route as ds does really suffer with his emotions and that so i think that woukld be such a great help i really so, i have just found out today that the senco, was actually the head teacher, well on the last day of term she sent us a letter to tell us she was leaving, county hall didnt even know i am just so angry with them at that school they promised do much and nothin come of it,
then they put ds on the sen reg and i sisnt even know really not a happy bunny
