Jumpoline and Rainberella are two of DS1's words that make much more sense his way. These are the sort of words that stick with you and make their way into general family usage I think.

What do your kids say that makes more sense?

My dd1 used to say "I'm drinky" when she was thirsty.

I thought that was very accurate!

A jumpoline is called 'a boing' in our house.

My favourite was ds1's description of DP's headphones as a 'song hat' when he was v small. He also calls a globe a 'ball map'. Ds2 calls tears 'eye drops'

not logical ones but DS1 says
Karen Van (caravan)
Jackie Cakes (jaffa cakes)
Barbra Cube (BBQ)

BTPOG, ds1 calls the hazard lights in the car the 'haddock lights'.

My DS1 still calls satsumas "zamzoomers".

He also used to ham with a hammer and hoove with a hoover.
