tired toddlers having bedtime tantrums - would anyone like to share their TIPS with me?

DD has been at nursery all day, came back saying "nursery has made me tired mummy", but no forty winks for her on the way home, she sang instead - albeit with her thumb in and one eye shut
As we arrived nearer to 7pm the bedtime routine rolled on, 8pm came and went, and now extremely over-tired little girl started having a shouty fit at me sometime before 9pm. My boys didn't do this, I promise - so come on, share your thoughts with me?

God I feel for you. I know it's prob not helpful but when my Ds gets like this the only thing I find works is to let him go to sleep in mammys bed. Off in a second then move him to his bed. Longterm can you start bedtime routine earlier?

now that's an interesting one about your ds - ironically I we have recently "banned" dd from our bed (on the grounds that she sleeps in it more than we do, and we want our bed back!)

Hmm. first week of school hols and things have moved a bit later for the dses. Good spotting there, monkey - back to 6.30 bedtime routine for dd in order....

dunno why i wrote both I and we .... freudian slip, eh? well it's usually me who ends up doing whatever the "joint" decision was anyway

oh no worries tonight - she's been to grandma's for the afternoon, chilled out with me after work and daddy has put her to bed whilst I had two giggly boys
Tomorrow will be the test, her last day in nursery.. and overtiredness rules
