Anxious kids. Practical tools?

I've known my kids were highly strung for some time - since their births..... and my approach so far has been to muddle through, sometimes adequately, sometimes not.
Now they are 6 and 3, we have just moved house for the 3rd time in 2 years, and they have a lot of changes to deal with. I would like to teach them how to deal with stress, in practical and specific ways. We do all the general stuff, lavender baths, quiet time, they eat well and get exercise etc but they are both SO easily stressed and wound up and they overreact in many situations. I think it's partly genetic, but I also think I can help them to manage their stress. Does anyone have any experience of this or any suggestions? Many thanks.

when you say overreact what do you mean? Aren't they just kids?
