Yes. Bear in mind that my DS has autism. I phoned them first to ask how they would sedate as DS won't take any medicine. "No problem we'll manage" I was told and was looking forward to seeing how the professionals do it. Of course they couldn't and we had to go home. Then went back when they were prepared to jab him in the bum, they had to do that twice before he slumped but he only slept for 12 mins! They fitted electrode-thingys to his head and forehead which was OK once he was asleep. Decided it was a waste of time for us. I don't think with an NT child it will be too difficult once you get through the period of keeping him awake, all the other kids there seemed to be doing OK. THis was at Guys BTW. Got the "results" a couple of weeks later from a nice Prof in Out Patients.
