I had forgotten this

DS3 (6 months) has screamed for the last week none stop, isn't feeding properly so is feeding more often (because every 2 hours day and night is obviously not enough)

and my head hurts and i am tired and i want to go out tonight without him but i can't

Mine is also 6 months and teething!

Spoke to pharmacist and she suggested Anbusol which seems to be better than Bonjela. Not magic, but seems to help.

Meet up on this thread, say, um, 3:00 am?

Anbesol liquid is definately great as are teething powders.

The liquid stays on your finger and goes where you put it until gels that slip off and numb babies tongue... we became convinced that our son was addicted to bonjela - i think he just loved the taste.
When we switched to anbesol which tastes awful, he fussed a lot less.

My son seemed to be teething for months without much progress. Top two arrived about 13 months. At 18 months he got the bottom two front ones, two top teeth either side of the front two, two top molars and two bottom molars in just 3 weeks.

We survived by alternating between calpol, calprofen and liberal amounts of anbesol

We used to put some gel on a toothbrush. She quickly learnt that moving it around her mouth and chewing on it helped her teeth. She now brushes her teeth really well too.
