Ds is biting dd who is 2. It has happened twice in the last ten days and I suspect it may have happened before as have noticed bite marks on her.

Dd is now talking and because of this I am aware of the problem.

He was badly bitten, repeatedly when he was two,

Do not know what to do, he is a great child happy bright outgoing rarely aggressive to his friends.

Need some advice from others that have had such an old biter

Provisionally have told him that if he does it again his favourtie toy will be given away

we stopped it with marmite! Every time he bit, he got some marmite on his tongue. It stopped the biting within a couple of weeks and gave him a life time phobia of marmite too!

the same age. but beware they don't like marmite after that. I used to do it whenever i caught him in the act or their were teethmarks but it had to be very soon after or he would have forgotten.
