Our dd is now nearly 18 mo and I was wondering if its ok to give her tap water. What would you advise? Thanks
From 6 months, I think. Mine lived to tell the tale.

I think tap is fine. What water are you giving her now?
DS is 16m, I have been giving tap water for 6 months.... Tis fine after a year I think.
My 10 month old went from breastmilk only for 6 months to solids, tap water and breastmilk from 6 months and 1 day!
mine has had tap since 6 months as well goes well with the puddle water he likes to lick
I have given all my dd's tap water since they were around 7 months old.Whar are you giving her atm?
tap water is fine as a drink from 6 months. DS probably had it a couple of weeks before then as I couldnt be bothered waiting for the boiled water to cool.
Sorry for the confusion, I meant as in straight from the tap, silly question and I feel dumb now as I usually give her cool boiled water. Thanks all for the advice
Bottled water for children?<<thunk>>
I gave DS and DD ordinary tap water (ie not boiled first) from around 6 months.
DS has, seemed silly to worry about it when he would drink the (wee wee) bath water!
Thanks again all
thames water don't even add fluoride... we used tap from 6mo-ish
