3.4 yrs dd still wetting herself regularly - is this common?

My dd has been potty trained since she was 2. She did really well at first and became clean and dry really quickly. A few months after her brother (11 months) was born she started wetting herself and doing poos in her knickers. She comes home from pre-school at least twice a week in different clothes. Sometimes they have to change her twice in one half day session. At the weekends she will often go through up to 3 pairs of knickers. Anyone else experience the same thing with their dcs? Please tell me she will grow out of it soon?

I'm going through exatly the same thing. DS1 had been doing really well with toilet training, then along came DS2 in Feb. Since then we have some weeks of perfect toilet habits, then huge regressions, and cleaning about 3 pants in the weekend. It's like he suddenly gives up. It's worse at Kindergarten as they make him wear Pull-Ups so he just doesn't bother. This week there's been two successes there, but on the whole, pretty bad. They think it's because he's seen DS2 getting nappy changed, and it's an attention thing.

I REALLY hope they grow out of it soon, too!

My DD is 4 and we are having the same issues. She was potty trained at 2 and half and has constant relapses. She has gone for ages without any problems and now suddenly she is wetting at least once a day. When I ask her why she says she "forgets" to go or just cannot get there quick enough. I am tyring to be patient as she is generally very good at telling me she wants to go when we are out. I know she doesn't have an infection so will just have to wait it out and see. I thought this was quite old to be having accidents again but the nursery tell me it is quite common. Sorry not much help but you are not alone

Yes - I thought 8 pairs of pants would do us for the week. Sometimes it does, sometimes they're gone in 3 days...

We're going through this with DS 3.1 at the moment. He's been completely dry at night for about a month, but the odd damp patch here and there had been getting more frequent - culminating last weekend in a full wee on the kitchen floor!

We've reintroduced the sticker chart this week, and it seems to be working. Tbh, I remember my mum nagging me a lot to go to the loo when I was a kid, because I'd sit there desperate for a wee, but too absorbed in what I was doing. So I have quite a lot of sympathy for him - or at least, I would, if it weren't for the laundry!

LOL
I take more stuff in the changing bag now than I did when she was a baby!

Thanks for sharing your experiences. I used to get annoyed but now I just clean it up without making a fuss. When I ask her why she doesn't just go to the toilet when she needs to go she says she doesn't know. I just hope she grows out of it before she starts school next year!
