Just wondering whether anyone has had a similar experience or any advice.
My DS1 appears to suffer from bad trapped wind at night. Usually after his 2am feed he is constantly pulling up his knees, and straining as if to push out the wind and moaning and groaning till morning. Most of the time he does not wake, however on occassion he will and appears to be in pain.
I have tried infacol, but that seems to make him worse. I started trying gripe water after his feeds from last night, however today he is crying out in pain after every feed and raising his knees(and has thrown up lots after a few feeds.) Should I continue using the gripe water? Is this normal behaviour?
I am starting to wonder if he could be allergic to something. He is breast fed, and when I mentioned this to the Health Visitor and Doctor they dismissed it as colic.
Any advice or sugestions welcome, as he appears to be in pain, and we're struggling to sleep through the noise!
