Ok so ds is 18 mths old he has a huge appetite.

For breakfast he has two weetabix without sugar and usually a finger of toast - wholemeal.

Snack - fruit and a biscuit or two crackers and dairy lea.

Lunch - pasta and sauce/ spag bol/ shepards pie - and pudding jelly/fruit/ sponge pud (he is at nursery three days a week for lunch. At home he gets ham/cheese sandwich or soup with yogart to follow.

3-4 pm another snack - fruit bread/ half banana

Tea about 6pm - chicken and veg or maybe cottage pie etc with yogart again.

7pm - 7oz milk.

He is chubby and does have budda belly. People always comment on his size. He is normal size and we do go out and about alot and am encouraging him to walk more.

Does his in take sound too much - bit worried now

His intake sounds pretty similar to my 17 month old DS - and he has a pot belly too.

I'm not at all worried - and I don't think you should be, by the sounds of things.

You don't mention his height at all. Is he quite tall? It certainly sounds as if he has a good apetite and pretty much everything he eats is healthy. I wouldn't worry as he is still very young, but definately get him walking and running as much as you can

Not sure what his height is - going to see hv on thur. He hasn't been for 6 mths. He is just comming out of 12-18 mths clothes - so guess his height is average.

We are often to be found at park running around or in garden.

He does always seem hungry though and forever asking for a biscuit. Only have organix for him which I limit.

If he's in the right sized clothes for his age, I can't beleive that his weight is seriously out of line.

If he's asking for biscuits, maybe offer fruit instead, but I really wouldn't worry too much
