Anyone else have children who seem opposites in almost every way?

DS and DD are so different. I know all siblings differ from each other but it is so extreme! It started with being born, one two weeks early, one two weeks late. Then DD was wide awake, DS always slept. DS on the move at 6 months, never really mastered sitting up though, was too busy crawling. DD been sitting really well since about 5 months, and doesn't even roll. DD babbles, DS never did. I could go on but I won't. Anyone else the same an if your DC were this different how do they get on with their sibling as they get a little older?

Yes! I have two DDs now aged 13 and 10 who have been different in every respect from the day they were born.

They have always got on very well together and I wonder if perhaps being different helps?

yes, my two dds are quite different too but a lot younger than motherofgirls dd1 will be 5 in july and dd2 will be 2 in a coupe of weeks

some minutes they fight and then seconds later they're kissing and cuddling, I just let them get on with it

my two boys are 9 and 12 and have always been as different as they could ever possibly be. They don't get on that well either. ds1 just thinks ds2 is foolish and doesn't have much time for him sadly. i hope it changes as they get older!
