Should I be concerned about nursery?

My daughter is 2 next month. She has been going to nursery two days a week for thr past year, she usually loves nursery and smiles so much when she sees the building. However, the last four times she has had a meltdown when I drop her off, she doesn't want to let go of me and cries so much. There are lots of new staff but that is the only thing that has changed. Should I be worried that something has happened at the nursery? Or do you think it is just developmental?

Has her specific keyworker changed?
She also might be feeling unwell? They pick up so many bugs at nursery, my daughter went through a stage of refusal and dragging her feet after previously loving it, and she developed a really nasty cold / loose poo situation so in hindsight I think she was just feeling rubbish for a week or so. Went back to loving it when she got over the illness.

It may well be she is worried about the new staff. Ask her if she is worried about any of the teachers. Ask who and why, just listen to anything she has to say and agree with her with what she is feeling...and go from there. My youngest had this with a new nursery teacher. I found out which teacher it was, and after a day playing with that teacher she was fine from then on.
