Moving nurseries experiences

My 3yo has had a few bad experiences at the nursery we use - overly harsh staff and not communicating when she hurt herself quite badly. I have that gut ‘mummy’ feeling that we should move her. However there are aspects she enjoys and staff/kids she’s attached to so I’m a bit nervous about how a move might impact her.

I just wondered if anyone else had experiences of moving a child from one setting to another? She will be starting school the year after so I’m keen for this to be a positive experience. Any tips for preparing her/how to discuss it with her?

Following as we are relocating and my soon to be 3 year old will have to change nurseries... my biggest reservation about the move!

DD went to a preschool only part time but I really wasn't happy at the settling in sessions, the staff seemed disinterested at best and the children just seemed feral and not very happy. I left her there for a while, really wish I hadn't then decided to move her.

Took her to visits another nursery with me and after a few minutes she asked to be out down and went off to play. She was so happy there and I'm so glad I moved her.
