as she loves men!!!! but she is a mummys girl as she wanted ME to do everything...and if my Dp tried (her Dad)...she just screamed!!!!

this week we went to the preschool for a visit..said bye to everyone and this other teacher that was from the other class in a different room was in the preschool room...my dd said "Can i give him a hug??" even though she hadnt spoken to him...i stupidly said Yes...

yesterday there was a man with 2 kids in this small soft play area by mine..DD went over with her hand on his leg!!!!

i do wants to shout for her to come here next to me but i dont want the men to think im harsh!!!

If there was a room of 100 women and 1 man...she will be with that man and even sits on his knee!!! EEKK!!!

HELP!!!!!!

Um....not really sure, sorry not much help. I think i'd feel the same as you if it was my dd. Does she have a good relationship with her dad despite being a mummys girl ?

She just sounds very friendly and affectionate - would be really difficult to try to say anything to her at this age though. Maybe worry about it more later!

At the moment it is just with people staying in house and men that we know, I keep a very close eye on her when we are out at pub for instance and immediately get her back with a sorry and that's all I can do at the moment until she is old enough to understand why she can't do it. Our problem is that we run a B&B so she sees strangers all the time.

My DD(1yr) has a definate preference for men, it can be quite embarrassing cos she plays peepo with them in ques and smiles and just kind of makes it impossible for them to ignore her. Sometimes men look quite uncomfortable with it! But women she will mainly ignore or stare blankly at, especially if thye are making a really nice fuss of her!
