I don't know whether I should be worried that there is something wrong or whether I'm just being silly and DS is simply a slow developer.
He met all his milestones at the right time, rolling over by 4 months, sitting by 5, crawling by 7.5 months and cruising by 8.5.
Then things slowed down. He took his first steps by 12.5 months but quickly stopped trying after falling over a second time and now refuses to try walking.
He has very good comprehension and understands lots of simple commands (eg. Give mummy the ball, take off your socks, lie down, give daddy your dummy, point at the book, etc).
But he doesn't say any words yet...unless I am harsh in what counts. He says 'nonononono' whenever something he doesn't want happens (eg. nappy change, I take something away) and says mama a lot but I don't think it's with meaning (think it'd be more obvious?).
Should I be worried about a speech delay?
