Hello, I've just noticed that my son (3.5 years) has one pupil slightly different in size to the other. It's not all the time, and it's not hugely noticeable either ( I don't think my husband has ever noticed it before). Do you think I should be worried? Google says I should be sadWondering if I should call the doctor? Just don't want to waste their time when there's nothing else wrong with him (I hope). Thank you xxxx

Yes do call the dr it will need to be checked to make sure it’s not due to anything serious. Try not to worry -easier said than done I know.

This says up to 20% of the population have it, it’s not always sinister.

An optician may be a better person to check with. Easier to get an appointment with too.

Agree with pp, get an appointment with your doctor. You could try an optician, but they don't normally see children under 5 afaik.

Probably nothing, but something that needs to be checked.
