Hi

So my little girl has developed the most infuriating habit - she drinks from a beaker with a built in straw and has done so with no problems since she was about 1 year old.

Recently she has taken to tipping her beaker upside down which gets milk everywhere. I don’t know where she’s got this from but I’m losing patience now not to mention wasting milk and making our carpet smell. I don’t want to go back to a sippy style cup as she’s progressed away from those - any ideas? Thanks x

No advice mine does the same, I just take it from him.
We have started to offer a normal small plastic cup to get him use to it .
They all leak to some extent I think it’s more a case of pushing boundaries than being able to stop it . The joys.

@sauvignonblancplz it’s so frustrating especially as she is perfectly capable of just drinking from it. Hasn’t had a bottle or sippy cup in about a year, I’m baffled!

I think at 2 she shouldn't have milk through a bottle or straw and just a normal beaker, glass or cup. Obviously not glass if she is prone to throwing it though. I don't really think they need to drink milk at 2 anyway but each to their own

I do remember using Nuby 360 non spill cup though, we had the ones without handles and they were pretty good. Just like drinking from a cup.
