So my son is getting seen by the pyshio, ot, speech therapist and pediatrician. He isnt meeting his milestones and is quite delayed. He has been referred for genetic testing and brain MRI. He isnt sitting up, rolling over, only eats pureed food and he doesnt focus on object or people. He also doesnt pick toys up he is very limp all over doesnt bear any weight on his legs at all. Anyways... we had video conference with professionals as app couldn't go ahead but have noticed this skin fold at back of his neck. It has always been there but I thought it was normal now it seems so abnormal considering everything else. Anyone else kid have this or any one any ideas? Thanks

So sorry you are having all of these problems @Mumoftwox.

I have no idea on the skin folds but I think that is one of the things they measure in your prenatal checks? Did they mentioned anything then?

Mine are older now so I'm not sure what they check for these days if I'm honest.

Do they still do the Nuchal test around 12 weeks?

I am not speaking with any knowledge or experience but if he has a low muscle tone, limpness, then perhaps this is how his head/neck sits. Perhaps it's not a sign of an issue rather a consequence of the low muscle tone. I'm sorry, you must be very concerned waiting for all these investigations and must have so many questions Flowers
