15 month old cried at certain toys

Hi just wondering if this is a normal developmental thing..
So.. my 15 month old is usually a very happy little chappy meeting all his milestones etc
A couple of weeks ago he was playing with his toys and when the sound/lights came on he started hysterically screaming, this is happening on an almost daily basis now, he can be playing one minute and then he is just frantic and he's actually shaking he's that scared, it seems to be a particular voice sound that he's sensitive too.. think Vtech, toot toot sounds...
has this happened to anyone else?
He's not very sociable and she's away if he sees anyone he's not seen for a while or a new face.. but I know that can be totally normal (self isolating now anyway so we don't really see anyone)
And just to add I have a 15 week old too, so I don't know wether it may be an attention thing??
Someone please tell me they have experienced this and it goes away or is there anything you did to help?
Thanks 😊
