Does she need Speech Therapy because of the soother??

My DD turned 3 in December. She was doing really well and only using her soother at night time and during her afternoon nap, but now DD2 has arrived and she has insisted she wants it on demand. I understand a second baby is a huge change for her, and this is really the only regression we have noticed since DD2's arrival a few months ago.
The problem is, I am now starting to compare her to other children of the same age in terms of the clarity their speech. If she is speaking to strangers or even to people at her daycare, they often don't understand what she is saying. She sort of constantly sounds like she has a cold when trying to pronounce certain things, if that makes sense.

From what I've said, does it sound like she will need a speech therapist? Or should I be patient as I know she will very likely give up the soother at some stage this year?
