Baby girl 10 month keeps hanging her right ear

My little girl is 10 months old and the last roughly month she keeps randomly putting her hand up to her right ear and will smack it over and over again at times. She was teething and gets pain relief etc but even when she's not teething she does it. Noticed she does do it a bit more when tired but sometimes she will do it even just after a sleep. She's happy enough and no temperature etc. Well otherwise. But sometimes she really is hitting side of her head/ear quite hard that it can't be normal and it is always the right side! Any thoughts?

Hi There sfmcfc,

We're sorry to hear this is happening - that sounds like something you may need to get checked out in real life. Sadly, we're no medically trained so it's always best to seek real life professional advice.

We hope some of our users will be along with their advice and support soon but do remember there's substitute for real life medical advice.

Hi OP.

Just a note to tell you that my LG does this too and we just let her get on with it to be honest. When my LG is teething, her ears get really waxy so we put the ear pulling/hitting/rubbing down to a bit of earache and perhaps her not liking the sensation of so much wax in her ear.

I honestly think its normal during these teething months l.
