6 month can't sit

Hi everyone! This is my first time posting 😊 so my LG is 6 months and can't sit. I had horrific PND and anxiety so we spent a lot of time out when she was younger and when we were home she was in her swing a lot (no judgement please) because that's where she was happiest. I think this has delayed her development a little. We couldn't do a lot of tummy time either because she also had reflux. Anyway, I'm doing a lot of tummy time now, she sits between my legs, propping up with cushions etc but she hates all of it. She's getting so frustrated with laying down but will literally whinging and wriggle until she's laying down again 🤷🏼‍♀️ She also hates her high chair. She will stay in her bumbo happily if I'm playing with her but I know she can't stay in there for too long. She also loves her jumperoo and door bouncer. Any advice on helping her along a bit? It's making staying at home nearly impossible as she just ends up in tears and she's so much happier when we are out and about which in turn isn't helping her to sit because she's in the buggy or on my lap. Thank you if you've made to the end of this 😂💕

It sounds as if you are doing everything just right OP. If you want a little reassurance, this article is good Smile

10 months here and only just sitting properly. Propped up until about 9 months. I relied heavily on bouncy chair because she hates the floor so much so I think she is inclined to lay back a little and slide down. When I place her in a sitting position shes pleased with herself now- leans forward to get toys. Try making a little nest out of cushions and propping her up. I was really worried at 6 months too but she soon did it and now im worried shes not crawling 🤦‍♀️😆
