Mucus in nappy

Past 3 nappies my 4 month old has had mucus in her poo. Quite a lot this morning and stool loose. Stools are normally loose though as on comfort milk. She's just threw up about an oz of her bottle and in pain when pooing. Should I be concerned about the mucus as I might book doctors tomorrow. She's happy in herself

Mucus is usually a sign of something wrong, maybe an allergy.

Does she show any other signs of CMPA?

Definitely go to the doctors, and take a nappy with you.

My DD had this for aaaaaaages - green stringy nappies for about 3 months! In her case, she had a mild tummy bug that she just couldn’t shift. But I’ve heard of others that get it with allergies. A medical opinion would probably be useful.
