I am much better informed about eye issues

My daughter was diagnosed with astigmatism recently. And this is where the Chromozoom DNA test comes in... I ended up doing lots of research as a result, and I’ve discovered that older people, the over-65s, are more likely to have it than young people. I also understand that there’s a genetic component, which made me consider a test like Chromozoom. I took the test to see if the condition could be running in the family. I also got lots of other eyecare information. The package has helped us a LOT. The test was simple and quick, and I feel much more informed about my eyes. From my point of view I recommend it. Does anyone of you try the test as well?

Not really - only if my doctor recommends it.

You can find out if your child has astigmatism when they have their eyes tested at the optician. This is free for under 16s and those in full-time education up to 18 years old.

I have astigmatism and so does my dd. We both wear glasses/contacts and it doesn't cause any problems.
