Does this count as a first word? (SN child)

Hello! My lovely 15 month old DD has a rare genetic disorder, which has resulted in severe global delay, alongside other issues.

She has recently started saying "muuum" and "mumma" but doesn't say it in any context and will say it at complete random. However, does this count as a first word?! Or does it need to have meaning? I am feeling so very excited by this as her disorder can also cause significant speech delay. I don't have any other children to compare with (SN or otherwise) and so would love some input! Thank you smile
