Hi, my DS is 3 years old and has always been a really good sleeper, sleeping through with no problems. Recently though this has changed. Its been over a month now when he has last slept through the night and I have no idea why he doesn't anymore. He settles fine when he goes to bed between 7pm - 730pm but then he is constantly getting up hours later. He just comes into my room and I just take him back and tuck him in but this can happen 3 or more times every night!
I am now getting so tired in the mornings yet my DS does not appear tired at all. I have given him a night light which I thought would help as he said he doesn't like the dark but he is still getting up. I really don't know what to do to try and get him to stay in bed and sleep anymore. Any tips?

You must be shattered, especially if you've been used to sleep. One thing to try is giving him more to eat in the day as hunger can cause night wakings. There's a good guide from the Caroline Walker Trust on what he should be having.

If that doesn't work. Try sleeping with his sheets for a couple of nights before you put them on his bed as it will give him a reassuring smell.

And if either of those don't work try the No Cry Sleep Solution for Toddlers & Preschoolers Smile

Thank you so much, will definitely try those. Feel so tired everyday so hoping one of these will work!
