DD is 13 months, not yet walking but loves crawling around, hide-and-seek, peek-a-boo, so I want to get her a tunnel, primarily for indoor use. Found 2 that I like and would like to know if people have used/got on with either. It's either the 'First Pop Up set' from ELC (with tent) or second hand Little Tikes tunnel with solid blue bottom and red mesh on top. I'd get the 2nd hand one for the cost but concerned it'd be too long to be practical indoors!?

Play tunnels and pop up tents were the best buy I ever made when mine were little.They still play with them now and they will be 12 and 10 in September (even out Teletubbie one!) We only used them in the garden.
Sometimes they put them out on the front garden and we have half the children in the street playing with them.
Our only problem was they were stored in the garage and the mice ate a couple of the tents.

We had one which joined the elc tent , lots of play value.

Matalan were selling these last week with 2 tents inc for £7.50

Went to Matalan to try and get one PFNM but there were none left, ended up getting a Fifi Flowerpot sit-and-ride instead for the same price though! Re. tunnels and tents, a lot of them in the shops are advertised as suitable only from 2 or 3 years (not even sure why), am I being overcautious to heed this and hang on for a baby/toddler-oriented one? I know its not loads but its not a birthday or anything, she has loads of toys and am on limited budget, so reluctant to pay £30 (incl. delivery as they never have them in store) for the ELC baby one. On the other hand, I obviously want her to have nice toys, that are safe for her to use.

I think ds was probably about 3 when we got the first one, that would mean dd would have been 1, she just followed big brother around everywhere so quite happily played in it.
the early learning do one from 18 mos to 3 years but most of their other ones are from 2 onwards. Not sure what 6 months difference would make.

DD is 14 months - I bought a tunnel with tent in Woolworths - half price sale - approx £14 - you might get it online if not close to a Woolies. She loves it - used indoors as weather like winter in NE Scotland. - Great with cushions in tent part for chilling out - me and her!!

I just had an email ELC have 25% off their pop up tents and tunnels on line at the moment.

I can not see why they are 3+, my mum brought ours for ds1's 1st birthday.

And the result is- I have bought a Fisher-price discovery first tent and tunnel pop up set for about £20 on e-Bay incl. delivery(the Woolies one wasn't in the sale when I went, doh). I just know she'll love it, but I might have to get a bigger one when she's a bit older.

sainsburys have got tunnels £6.59 and they have storage bag and think they in between the legnth of the two in elc
